Built for Colorado Weather

Colorado’s climate is one of the harshest roofing environments in the country. Homes regularly experience:

  • Severe hailstorms
  • Heavy snow loads
  • High winds
  • UV exposure at elevation
  • Freeze-thaw cycles
  • Ice dams
  • Rapid temperature swings

Stone coated steel roofing is specifically designed to perform in these demanding conditions. The steel core provides structural strength while the stone coating protects against weathering, UV degradation, and corrosion.

Unlike asphalt shingles that may crack, curl, or lose granules over time, stone coated steel maintains its appearance and structural integrity for decades.

Shingle Profile Stone Coated Steel Roofing

The Appearance Homeowners Love

Many homeowners assume metal roofing only comes in standing seam panels.

Shingle profile stone coated steel changes that perception entirely.

These roofing systems are designed with deep dimensional textures that closely resemble premium architectural asphalt shingles while offering all the benefits of steel construction.

From the street, most people cannot distinguish a quality stone coated steel roof from a traditional shingle roof.

This allows homeowners to preserve neighborhood aesthetics while enjoying a much stronger roofing system.

Long-Term Value

While the initial investment is higher than traditional asphalt shingles, stone coated steel roofing often provides significantly greater long-term value.

Homeowners benefit from:

  • Longer roof life
  • Reduced maintenance
  • Fewer repairs
  • Better storm protection
  • Potential insurance discounts
  • Improved energy efficiency
  • Increased property value

Instead of replacing an asphalt roof every 20–30 years, many homeowners install one stone coated steel roof that lasts several decades.

Energy Efficient Roofing

The textured stone coating helps reduce heat absorption while promoting airflow beneath the roofing system.

Benefits include:

Improved attic ventilation

Lower cooling costs

Better summer comfort

Reflective roofing technology

Contemporary homes

Superior Storm Protection

Colorado homeowners know how quickly severe weather can develop.

Stone coated steel roofing provides outstanding resistance against:

  • Hail impact
  • Flying debris
  • High winds
  • Heavy snowfall
  • Ice buildup
  • Fire exposure

Many systems qualify for Class 4 Impact Resistance, the highest impact rating available for residential roofing materials.

HVR did a re-roof for us for a home resale, on a 2500 sq ft 4 bedroom house. They did it within a week of the estimate, to meet closing time constraints, during the one day of good weather we had that week. The price was the lowest of 5 estimates, without any sacrifice of quality of materials or workmanship. Cleanup was meticulous, and communication and customer service exemplary. Would not hesitate to use their company again. Thanks John and Ryan, you guys are awesome!

I had a hail damaged roof from a storm incurred in late June of this year. I did quite a bit of research on local roofing companies as I absolutely was not going to even entertain the deluge of roofing door knockers. After thoroughly vetting High Valley Roofing, I gave them a call and talked to John, the owner of the company. We had a great conversation about the roof and he set up a meeting with his representative, Aaron.

After being ghosted by another local roofing company, I turned to social media for recommendations and High Valley Roofing came up again and again. From the very first interaction, Ryan, our representative, exceeded expectations. He was personable, professional, and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process.

Called High Valley Roofing because I needed help. John and Ryan were close doing another job and they showed up almost immediately and they were able to fix my problem. Excellent service and very friendly . I would highly recommend High Valley Roofing.

I cannot say enough good things about High Valley Roofing and John. After discovering my insurance company didn't have my Class 4 impact-resistant roof on file, I went down a frustrating rabbit hole trying to find documentation. The permit? Nowhere to be found. Documents from when I bought the home 10 years ago? Nothing. The original installer? Out of business since 2019. I was stuck.
