Built for Colorado's Extreme Weather

Colorado roofs face some of the harshest weather conditions in the country. From hailstorms and heavy snowfall to high winds and intense summer sun, your roofing material must be able to perform year after year.

High Valley Roofing installs shingles engineered to resist:

Hail damage

Ice dam formation
Moisture intrusion

Wind uplift

UV deterioration
Freeze-thaw cycles

Proper installation is just as important as selecting quality materials. Our roofing systems include premium underlayment, ventilation, flashing, drip edge, and ridge components to maximize performance and longevity.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing

Architectural vs. Designer Asphalt Shingles

Not all asphalt shingles are the same.

Architectural Shingles

Architectural shingles are thicker, stronger, and longer-lasting than traditional 3-tab shingles. They create a dimensional appearance while providing superior durability and wind resistance.

Ideal for homeowners seeking:

  • Better curb appeal
  • Longer lifespan
  • Increased home value
  • Enhanced weather protection

Designer Asphalt Shingles

Designer (or luxury) shingles replicate the appearance of slate, cedar shake, or other premium roofing materials while maintaining the affordability of asphalt.

Benefits include:

  • Premium appearance
  • Greater thickness
  • Enhanced durability
  • Higher impact ratings
  • Distinctive curb appeal

Professional Installation Matters

Even the highest-quality shingles won’t perform properly if they’re installed incorrectly.

Our roofing professionals follow manufacturer specifications and industry best practices, including:

Complete roof inspections

Proper deck preparation

Ice and water shield installation

High-performance synthetic underlayment

Precision flashing installation

Proper ventilation design

Manufacturer-approved fastening methods

Thorough final inspections

Attention to detail ensures your roof performs exactly as designed.

Energy Efficiency

Today’s reflective asphalt shingles help reduce heat absorption during Colorado’s hot summers.

Depending on the color and product selected, modern shingles can help:

  • Improve attic temperatures
  • Reduce cooling costs
  • Increase indoor comfort
  • Extend roof lifespan

Proper attic ventilation further improves energy efficiency and protects the roofing system.

Storm Damage Protection

Colorado homeowners know severe weather can strike with little warning.

High Valley Roofing offers impact-resistant asphalt shingles designed to reduce damage from hail while providing enhanced protection against high winds and flying debris.

After major storms, our team also provides:

Roof inspections

Storm damage assessments

Emergency repairs

HVR did a re-roof for us for a home resale, on a 2500 sq ft 4 bedroom house. They did it within a week of the estimate, to meet closing time constraints, during the one day of good weather we had that week. The price was the lowest of 5 estimates, without any sacrifice of quality of materials or workmanship. Cleanup was meticulous, and communication and customer service exemplary. Would not hesitate to use their company again. Thanks John and Ryan, you guys are awesome!

I had a hail damaged roof from a storm incurred in late June of this year. I did quite a bit of research on local roofing companies as I absolutely was not going to even entertain the deluge of roofing door knockers. After thoroughly vetting High Valley Roofing, I gave them a call and talked to John, the owner of the company. We had a great conversation about the roof and he set up a meeting with his representative, Aaron.

After being ghosted by another local roofing company, I turned to social media for recommendations and High Valley Roofing came up again and again. From the very first interaction, Ryan, our representative, exceeded expectations. He was personable, professional, and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process.

Called High Valley Roofing because I needed help. John and Ryan were close doing another job and they showed up almost immediately and they were able to fix my problem. Excellent service and very friendly . I would highly recommend High Valley Roofing.

I cannot say enough good things about High Valley Roofing and John. After discovering my insurance company didn't have my Class 4 impact-resistant roof on file, I went down a frustrating rabbit hole trying to find documentation. The permit? Nowhere to be found. Documents from when I bought the home 10 years ago? Nothing. The original installer? Out of business since 2019. I was stuck.
